Gem\u00e4\u00df der aktuellen Prognose w\u00e4chst dabei der Anteil der \u00f6ffentlichen Finanzierung um \u00fcber f\u00fcnf Prozent auf 4,08 Milliarden Euro.<br \/>\nEine Ursache f\u00fcr die positive Prognose war die im Zuge der Steuerreform umgesetzte Anhebung der Forschungspr\u00e4mie (der \u00f6sterreichische Begriff f\u00fcr steuerliche Forschungsf\u00f6rderung). Durch die 2016 in Kraft getretene Erh\u00f6hung von 10 auf 12 Prozent flie\u00dfen rund 100 Millionen Euro mehr an heimische Unternehmen.
