Im Vergleich zum Vorjahr sind sie um 5,3% gestiegen.<\/p>\n<p>Aus eigenen finanziellen Ressourcen investierten die amerikanischen Unternehmen im Jahr 2016 ca. 318 Mrd. USD in ihre Forschungs- und Entwicklungsaktivit\u00e4ten. Die \u00fcbrigen 57 Mrd. USD wurden aus anderen Quellen finanziert. Den gr\u00f6\u00dften Anteil daran hatte die US-amerikanische Bundesregierung mit 24 Mrd. USD, gefolgt von 18 Milliarden USD aus den Mitteln ausl\u00e4ndischer Unternehmen.<\/p>\n<p>25 Milliarden US-Dollar der Gesamtmittel gingen in die Grundlagenforschung, 61 Milliarden US-Dollar in die angewandte Forschung und 289 Milliarden US-Dollar in Entwicklungsaktivit\u00e4ten.<br \/>\nIm Vergleich dazu steht im Bundesbericht zu Entwicklung und Innovation, dass in Deutschland im Jahr 2016 ca. 92 Mrd. Euro f\u00fcr Forschung und Entwicklung ausgegeben worden sind. Zwei Drittel davon, rund 63 Mrd.
