Das Team des CfADS hat eine Projektskizze eingereicht, die den Aufbau einer anwendungsorientierten Industrial-IoT-Plattform vorsieht. IIoT steht f\u00fcr Industrial Internet of Things, das Internet der Dinge im industriellen Umfeld. Im Unterschied zum IoT stehen nicht die Verbraucher und Anwender im Mittelpunkt des Forschungsinteresses, sondern industrielle Abl\u00e4ufe. Ziele des IIoT sind unter anderen Kostensenkungen in der Produktion, schnellere Abl\u00e4ufe und die Umsetzung neuer Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle. Zentrale Rollen spielen Sensoren und Sensordaten, die die Datenbasis f\u00fcr die Automation liefern. Da f\u00fcr die Realisierung des IIoT gro\u00dfe Datenmengen anfallen und diese in hoher Geschwindigkeit zu verarbeiten sind, spielen Big-Data-Technologien und -Anwendungen eine bedeutende Rolle.
